Postdoc / PhD in Real-Time Dose Guidance for Radiotherapy

About
the project
We are
seeking a Postdoc or PhD candidate to lead clinical research in real-time dose
guidance for radiotherapy, focusing on treatment of moving targets such as
paraspinal and pancreatic tumours.
The project
will investigate how real-time motion monitoring (X-ray or MR-based) combined
with dose tracking can improve treatment precision and outcomes.
You will
work closely with Aarhus University Hospital and collaborating clinics in
Europe and the US.
The role
- Lead clinical implementation of
real-time dose guidance workflows
- Design
and conduct clinical studies
- Perform data collection,
analysis, and interpretation
- Publish results in
peer-reviewed journals
- Present
findings at international conferences
- Collaborate with clinical and
technical partners
Minimum qualifications
- Medical Physicist or similar
with clinical radiotherapy experience
- Experience with IGRT and motion
management
- Strong
understanding of radiotherapy workflows
- Good
collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
and in teams
- Willingness
to travel internationally
- Fluency
in English
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with clinical
research and study design
- Programming skills (e.g.
Python, MATLAB, C#)
- Experience with advanced
imaging or motion management techniques
